Hello and welcome to my personal website. My name is Eltayeb K.E. Ahmed and I am an aspiring machine learning researcher. I am currently a masters student at the African Masters of machine intelligence (AMMI) at AIMS Rwanda. On this site you will find various blog posts about things I have done, as well as tutorials and opinion pieces. This site is still very new so expect a steady flow of articles over the next few weeks. In the pipeline I have articles about a reinforcement learning (RL) environment for checkers along with  the performance of a few RL algorithms it, my undergrad graduation project (using genetic algorithms, hyper-heuristics and RL for smarter traffic lights) and a tutorial on Bayesian linear regression.
